Is this a real scanner?

No. This is entirely fake.

So, what's the point of this?

There are a lot of automated site scanning tools out there. They can be quite useful for developers, designers, and digital marketers who understand what they're really looking at and know what can and cannot tested automatically. However, these tools are often used by people who don't fully understand them, who just see their site distilled down to a single grade. This site really exists just to point out the absurdity of evaluating a site based on a single letter grade.

Also, I had a few hours to kill and wanted to learn a bit more about VueJS, Jekyll, and GitHub Pages.
